PR/MARKETING INTERNS

Vitamin is always on the lookout for interns with exceptional written and oral communication skills who complement our energetic and growing boutique.
Who Should Apply:
- Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Psychology, Business Marketing and Mass Communication majors
- Students who are:
- Highly motivated to work individually and as a team in a fast-paced, client-centric business environment
- Passionate about learning from others, but who will take the initiative to learn from their own research and analysis
- Excellent writers who take well to constructive criticism
- Research-savvy individuals who understand the importance of being detail-oriented in every aspect of their work
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Explorer/Firefox)
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing day-to-day support to Vitamin's internal team and learning the ins and outs of branding, strategy, research, analysis, marketing communications, and other related areas of marketing
- Writing pitch letters, press releases and media advisories
- Preparing media lists and assisting with overall pitch strategies
- Assisting with copywriting, editing and proofreading print /online marketing materials (i.e. direct mail, brochures, product sheets, advertisements, web sites, etc.)
- New business and administrative support
- Others to be identified
Hours:
- Flexible
- Minimum 16 hours/week
- Prefer 24+ hours/week
Compensation:
- Our internships are unpaid, but can be applied to college credit
