Vitamin Wins Silver ADDY Award in Regional Advertising Competition
Baltimore, Md. — August 2, 2006
Vitamin®, a boutique design-web-PR firm, announced today winning a silver ADDY award in the American Advertising Federation’s Mid-Atlantic award competition. Vitamin won the award for its web site, beating out other agencies throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
The ADDY Awards Competition is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence, with more than 60,000 entries for the national competition each year. It is a three-tiered competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF).
In April, Vitamin won two awards in the local AAF competition, including a gold ADDY for the Vitamin web site, and a silver ADDY for a flash animation designed to publicize the launch of Discovery International’s television program, Mummy Autopsy.
After winning gold, Vitamin’s web site automatically qualified for the Mid-Atlantic competition and won silver. Other award-winning entries of the Mid-Atlantic competition included Colonial Williamsburg, McDonalds, National Geographic Museum, and Red Robin.
