Vitamin Executive to Speak at Greater Baltimore Committee’s Small Business Summit
Baltimore, Md. — December 4, 2009
Michael Karfakis, COO of Vitamin, will speak on using technology in business at the 2009 Maryland Small Business Summit, presented by the Greater Baltimore Committee on December 7 at the Sheraton Baltimore City Center hotel, where Governor Martin O’Malley will deliver the keynote address.
The Small Business Summit will include a morning filled with panel discussions on finance, business and technology, health care, and sustainability. Panel participants and attendees will include business leaders from across Maryland.
Karfakis will join the business and technology panel of experts to discuss: leveraging technology to do business online, establishing an effective digital strategy to maximize return on investment, and social media. Bill Pisano of The ACI Group will moderate the panel, which will also include Dave Hartman, executive IT advisor and president of Hartman Business Technology, and Josh Lippy, CTO of America’s Remote Help Desk.
