Star-Spangled Banner Museum
Brochure Design
The Star-Spangled Banner Flag House recently underwent a 4 million dollar addition. The addition included a 30x42 foot custom glass facade imported from Germany and designed to emulate the Star Spangled Banner itself. This brochure was featured at the grand opening to convey the buildings size, availability and one-of-a-kind features. The ribbon cutting ceremony featured Governor Robert Ehrlich and Mayor Martin OMalley.
About Star-Spangled Banner Flag House
Founded in 1927, the Star-Spangled Banner Flag House is one of Baltimores oldest Museums and the home of Mary Young Pickersgill who sewed the enormous 30x42 foot flag that flew over Fort McHenry. The flag, known as the Star Spangled Banner, is the same flag that inspired Francis Scott Key to pen Americas National Anthem during the War of 1812.
