KeepEmCookin.com was designed with one very specific goal in mind; to give expectant mothers a comforting and friendly place to learn about the risks of preterm birth. The challenge was to turn an intimidating and information-rich topic into a digestible and enjoyable experience. The design, in turn, is light, approachable and straightforward. For ease of updating the site, a custom CMS was implemented, enabling the client to update the content of the web site at their leisure.
About Keep ’em Cookin’
Keep ’em Cookin’ is an educational organization that gives pregnant women the greatest opportunity to carry their babies to term by providing the most current information and offering online community support. Keep ’em Cookin’ was founded by Angela Davids, while recovering from preeclampsia and acute kidney failure following a difficult pregnancy. By creating and maintaining KeepEmCookin.com, Angela hopes to help prevent as many preterm births as possible.
